Rotatek Printing & Packaging Technologies is hosting its Open House at its factory in Barcelona from 12 to 16 January, drawing industry professionals for live demonstrations and technical discussions focused on high-quality packaging production. We believe that the open house has also been extended for the next few days, and possibly a week, for late registrants and those who faced scheduling problems.
The event marks the unveiling of the new Universal 850 press, developed for applications including in-mold labelling, flexible packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, and folding cartons. The first day of the Open House featured operational demonstrations of the machine alongside in-depth exchanges with customers and partners on production capabilities and workflow optimisation.
During the event, it was confirmed that Mumbai-based Mudrika Labels has purchased the Universal 850, with the machine set to be installed at the Indian converter’s facility. The investment adds to Mudrika Labels’ focus on expanding its advanced packaging production capabilities and reinforces its long-standing association with Rotatek. In India. Rotatek is represented by Vinsak.
Mudrika is one of India’s leading labels and packaging printing companies based in Mumbai. The company is managed by directors Sandip Kadakia, Vipul Desai and Manish Desai. The company specializes in printing self-adhesive labels, in-mold labels, heat transfer films and mono cartons, among other packaging materials.
Rotatek said the open house has seen strong engagement from global visitors and industry stakeholders, reflecting growing interest in high-performance packaging presses amid evolving market requirements. The company noted that the Barcelona event provides a platform to demonstrate new technologies while strengthening collaboration with customers and partners from across its international markets.
