Visitors to the Xeikon Café, taking place at Xeikon Headquarter in Lier, Belgium, were witness to a first look at Xeikons’ first UV inkjet press, the new Panther PX3000, designed for self-adhesive labels for specific applications such as health and beauty, household chemicals, industrial chemicals and industrial labels. Filip Weymans, marketing manager at Xeikon said, “The digital frontend, X-800, of the new press is what will separate it from the competition. It doesn’t matter if a faster press is available in the market because the Panther can beat it with the frontend capabilities if not with its own speed.”

At the TGS stand, we met Murlidhar Nalli, managing director of the company, who was busy attending guests from Taiwan as well as a stream of visitors who flocked the stand inquiring about the Taiwanese made Wen Chyuan laminating machine and the SBL die cutter machine on display.

Noida-based Max Speciality Films Limited will be showcasing a variety of solutions at Printpack 2017, scheduled from 4-8 February 2017 at Greater Noida. The company will unveil top-of-the-line BOPP, PET and nylon-based graphic lamination films. The Max portfolio Super Effects comprises two distinct varieties—Elite and Classic. While Elite represents the premium line of lamination films with customized value-additions, Classic is the more traditional range for virtually all lamination applications.
