With emphasis on safe food packaging, Hubergroup promoted it MGA and Gecko range of inks at PackTech India held at Mumbai on 15–17 December. MGA Natura is ideal for special sheet-fed offset for printing organoleptically neutral print products on absorbent substrates. It is suitable for printing of food packaging made from paper and board. The prints made with Natura require inline application of an organoleptically neutral water-based coating. The MGA range of inks was launched in India earlier this year.

PGI to launch Precicut 330
Aurangabad-based PGI Technologies has plans to showcase its new product line at this year’s Labelexpo India. The company, which manufactures tooling and equipment for the narrow web label printing industry, will launch its 3-color flexo press with 330 mm web width. The press features two diecutting stations, a turn bar and hot air drying. Factory trials have reached a top speed of 90 m/min.
