The FoodEx and Agri Tech India concurrent events concluded in Bengaluru on 30 August 2017. The event presented Southern India with an array of innovative, high-speed, power-saving and tailor-made packaging and allied technologies and machinery. 

The All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) has announced a short three-month training course in 3D printing and printed electronics at Beijing Institute of Graphics Communication (BIGC) for print professionals, teachers and students. AIFMP has taken this initiative keeping in mind the future trends and lack of proper training in these sectors in India. The applications for the course can be sent to the Federation Secretariat, latest by 20 March 2017.

Naph Graphics demonstrated three products at PrintPack India 2017—the Koncept web offset tower, which was launched eight years ago; the Slitline slitter rewinder with speeds up to 350 m/min with web width up to 1300 mm; and an online stacker.

Having done multiple installations of postpresses, including Morgana’s PUR 200, BM 350 - Bookletmaker and Guowei - paper cutter, Malhotra Graphics now plans to showcase its offerings to a wider range of audience through PrintPack India 2017. “The way to do business in print industry has evolved over the years. A new software and engineering service for labels and packaging presses will be on show at Labelexpo Americas (Stand 6455) following the success of its introduction at drupa by Global Graphics Software. Called Fundamentals, the service provides inkjet press manufacturers with a single source for the key software components and engineering know how that are essential to building a digital front end to drive a press. The goal is to help reduce time to market and engineering costs by breaking through the common barriers that prevent manufacturers from getting out to market on time and on budget.
