At Flexo Synergy 2025, held on 27 June at Taj Chandigarh, industry partners Acme Rolltech, Alliance Printech, Miraclon and Tesa converged for an evening of knowledge sharing, collaborations and innovations in the flexo industry.
The core idea of the event was to bring together key solution providers in the printing industry on one collaborative platform — not with the intent of selling individual products, but to foster a solution-oriented environment that benefits the industry as a whole.
According to Aryaman Julka of Alliance Printech, in flexo printing, performance is driven by multiple elements working seamlessly together — the machine, plates, aniloxes, and tapes. This event successfully represented all of these pillars with Alliance, Miraclon, Acme Rolltech, and Tesa coming together to showcase holistic solutions rather than isolated technologies.

Several noteworthy observations emerged, he said. A recurring theme was the industry’s forward-looking mindset. Several converters expressed interest in areas such as ECG (extended color gamut) printing, multi-substrate adaptability, and sustainability.
“It was encouraging to see the community step beyond conventional comfort zones and initiate discussions on less-explored but highly relevant topics. This openness to explore ‘the next’ validated the very objective of the event — to expand conversations into new and uncharted possibilities for the flexo industry.”
The discussions highlighted a few common industry concerns. Achieving higher efficiencies through advanced technologies such as ECG printing was a primary focus, alongside the growing urgency of sustainability in packaging and printing.
Another underlying concern was the collective need for continuous upskilling and uplifting the industry at large — ensuring converters, suppliers, and solution providers move forward together.

Julka highlighted an important realization that flexo printing is not about any single component but about how different elements integrate to deliver consistent, high-quality output. “The key takeaway was that progress in flexo requires solution providers to collaborate more closely, rather than operate in silos. By uniting their strengths and co-developing solutions, the industry can be empowered to achieve greater efficiency, sustainability, and growth,” he said.
“The concluding networking dinner allowed for deeper conversations and relationship building in a more relaxed setting. Each presentation brought a unique perspective, prompting meaningful discussions. The overall highlight was how seamlessly knowledge-sharing blended with interaction, creating genuine value for the audience,” he adds.
He concluded by saying that the event was designed to be impactful yet simple in structure. Short, focused presentations were followed by interactive Q&A sessions, ensuring participants remained engaged throughout.
