Avery Dennison introduced a transparent self-adhesive film labelstock

In the first half of January 2009, Avery Dennison introduced a transparent self-adhesive film labelstock, Fasson R-PET50 Clear. The company says that Fasson R-PET50 Clear is the first recycled film facestock to come to the label market.

“It provides sustainability without compromising on-press performance or label aesthetics,” said Henrik Kajueter, vice president of marketing, Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe. Avery Dennison offers the 50 micron Fasson R-PET50 Clear film with a choice of adhesives, Fasson S692N for all-round performance and Fasson S4700 for extra clarity and tack.
Both adhesives comply with international food labelling regulations. Completing the laminate is Fasson BG42 White glassine release liner, with no imprint. Printed and unprinted samples of Fasson R-PET50 Clear are available from Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe.
