Hosokawa Alpine Blueserv is further expanding its global service network with a branch in India. The Blueserv hub is located at Hosokawa Micron India’s headquarters in Chennai and commenced operations in May 2025. The focus is on after-sales service in the business areas of powder and particle processing and blown film extrusion.
“With the newly established Blueserv hub, we are specifically strengthening our service presence in South Asia. The opening in India marks a significant step in our strategy to decentralize the service. By being close to our customers, we can not only respond more quickly and efficiently to their needs, but also act proactively so that our customers can run their operations safely and smoothly. This is an important milestone in further increasing our efficiency and thus boosting the competitiveness of our customers,” says Ralph Klaunig, senior vice president Blueserv.
His colleague Alexander Auer, vice president Blueserv Powder & Particle Processing, adds, “With the opening of Blueserv India, we are consistently implementing our ‘We act local, we think global’ strategy. Together with our dedicated local team, we will ensure that our ‘Customer First’ vision is evident in every interaction.”
In India, the Chennai site continues to grow and the expanded range of services sets new standards, “Our regional after-sales service is more than just a service – it is a promise to our customers: You can count on us at any time. Fast response times, personalized support and expert solutions make all the difference. This includes Blueserv’s predictive maintenance tool, which is now also available for the Indian market. This is another milestone in protecting our customers from production downtime at an early stage and maximizing their efficiency,” says Manjula Vedachalam, managing director Hosokawa Micron India.
The new Hosokawa Blueserv hub in Chennai was opened with a festive ceremony on 14 May. “We look forward to celebrating new successes together with our customers in India and continuing to drive forward our global Customer First vision,” says Auer.
