Xerox India will display a number of its digital printing solutions at the upcoming Printpack 2019 that will be held in Greater Noida from 1-6 February. The presses on display will include the newly launched Iridesse production press along with Color C70, D95A and the Versant series – Versant 180, Versant 3100.
“In a hyper-competitive market, businesses need solutions that go beyond the standard CMYK. The change was kickstarted by specialty dry ink technology that enabled customers to create and deliver more value. Keeping in mind the changing dynamics of the digital production printing market and an overwhelming response, the highlight of the show would be the Iridesse production press,” says Vineet Gehani, director – Technology and Channels, Xerox India.
Xerox India will look forward to meeting existing and potential customers. The company’s products on display at the show will include devices for the entry, mid and high-end production catering to various customer segments like commercial offset printers, photo labs, quick printers as well as design houses and prepress bureaus. “We are sure that we will be able to meet the needs of all customers visiting our stand,” he adds.
Commenting on the Indian print market, Gehani says that overall market is growing – with digital printing specifically showing strong growth. He believes that the move to digital print and digital enhancements has not only ushered in a new range of colors, specifically metallics and white dry ink, but also increased quality, flexibility and speed.
“As the need for more customization and personalization grows, customers are demanding more value addition from each print. In fact, buyers are more than willing to pay for these capabilities, with research indicating a willingness to pay a premium of between 24% and 89% over CMYK jobs,” he explains.
Finally talking about the importance of Printpack, Gehani says that the expo has always been an important platform that brings Xerox customers and its devices together.
“It is one of the world’s largest exhibitions in the graphic arts industry and we have witnessed tremendous success in the previous editions,” he concludes.
