The European Rotogravure Association (ERA) has announced the joining of Praatik Khanna as its new junior secretary, marking a milestone for the association’s expansion into South Asia. Based in Ahmedabad, India, Praatik, will support ERA’s mission to promote gravure printing and enhance its outreach in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
Praatik Khanna brings with him over 16 years of experience in the printing and flexible packaging industries. As an expert with a background in electronic and telecommunications engineering, he has demonstrated excellence in sales, customer relationship management, and technical service support. His extensive knowledge and industry insights position him well to support ERA’s initiatives in South Asia.
“Joining ERA as junior secretary is a tremendous honor,” said Praatik Khanna. “I look forward to contributing to the association’s efforts in fostering innovation, supporting members, and expanding ERA’s presence in this dynamic region.”
Praatik will assist ERA headquarters in Munich by establishing and coordinating activities in South Asia. This includes implementing targeted marketing strategies, increasing membership, and managing administrative tasks. As the primary contact for ERA members in the region, Praatik will ensure seamless communication and support, aligning with ERA’s objectives of driving excellence and growth in gravure printing.
Since its foundation in 1956, the European Rotogravure Association (E.R.A.) has developed into the leading international organization of the gravure industry. Its membership includes companies from the packaging, publication and decorative printing sectors as well as associated industries such as paper and ink makers, printing and finishing equipment manufacturers, and leading cylinder engravers.
