The world over, the growth in the printing industry is driven by a flourishing label and packaging segment. The trend is visible in India as it witnesses innovations, mergers, expansions and even diversification of other printers into labels. This will be reflected at Pamex, which will have an array of label presses and allied solutions on display in the 2024 edition, scheduled from 6-9 February at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.
Several companies such as Webtech International, Alliance Printech, Heidelberg, Monotech, and Vinsak have shared their plans for the show.
Webtech International Machineries will unveil its latest Labeltech X2 Series Flexographic Printing Machine at Pamex 2024 Mumbai.
“Designed with cutting-edge technology and industry-leading features, the X2 Series represents a leap forward in flexographic printing,” said Shiv Nandan Singh, COO & executive director of the company. “This state-of-the-art machine combines precision, speed, and versatility to meet the dynamic demands of label printing. The visitors can see firsthand the machine’s capabilities, from efficient job changeovers to its robust construction, exemplifying durability and reliability,” he said.
Alliance Printech participated in 2023 for the first time and is coming back in 2024 with even bigger plans. “We will take centre stage at Pamex by introducing the Novasmart – Multi substrate Flexo label press and ACER – label inspection Slitter Rewinder, setting new standards in the label industry,” said Jatinder Jhulka, founder.

Intergraphic Sales & Services will promote Weigang and Pulisi Label Printing Press at the Show. “We are thrilled to be back at Pamex and look forward to another landmark edition,” said Amit Sheth, the CEO of the company.
Heidelberg India will showcase the offerings of Heidelberg and Gallus Solutions, encompassing prinect, service, and consumables solutions. Samir Patkar, president Heidelberg India, expressed optimism about the show, noting, “We are participating in Pamex after a long time and have high expectations in terms of the quality of visitors.”
Monotech Systems has dedicated significant effort to developing label presses in India that aim to revolutionize the label printing industry for printers. At Pamex, the company will highlight its Jetsci Global Digital Label Printing solutions.
The Printers House will display a Orient Jet L&P Series press, in what it claims is a disruptive inkjet printing machines for the label segment. “It is fully made in-house providing market leading ROI’s in terms of capex and opex. Our digital machines are also available in single-color and 4 colors with the Orient JetC series,” said Rishabh Kohli, managing director of the company.
Vinsak India will feature Rotatek, Iwasaki and Lombardi Label Printing Presses. “Labels and packaging continue to grow year-on-year and have attracted printers looking to diversify their portfolio and insulate their businesses from technology risks,” said Ranesh Bajaj, the director of the company.
NBG Printographic Machinery will display a comprehensive portfolio of label solutions encompassing printing, finishing, inspection and converting. “We are delighted to exhibit at Pamex, India’s foremost exhibition dedicated to paper printing, labels, packaging, and converting,” said Nitin Garg, MD of the company.
Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), which had a catalog presentation last time, has taken a larger space to promote its flexo press and several other machines. Apex International will offer anilox-metering rolls and sleeves under the label segment of the Show.
Esko Graphics India will offer software solutions for the label converting industry in terms of streamlining processes, optimizing resource allocation, and leveraging automation tools, thus helping them to handle larger workloads without sacrificing quality or turnaround times.
Kodak will promote eco-friendly Offset Prepress Solutions and breakthrough Inkjet Solutions at Pamex. UV Graphic Technologies will display flexo printing and UV coating and curing machines at the show. The company will offer digital label converting and finishing machines. Edale will offer its versatile fully servo-driven label press.
Label stock will be offered by Sapna Label House, D N Excellence Private Limited (OPC), Rational Business Corporation and others at Pamex 2024.
RK Label Printing Machinery will present flexo label printing machinery, Jandu Engineering Works will offer label printing machines, Paper and Label Converting Technologies will offer label & foil converting and printing machines and S Kumar Multi Products will feature label converting and printing machinery.
SR Graphics will display newly developed label printing machines, while AB PrintPack will offer holographic printing solutions and lab coater for hotMelt adhesive coating and Aum Label and Machinery will display flexo printing solutions at Pamex 2024.
VDR International will offer label treatment machines at the show. “This plasma treatment machine is used for a better print quality, bonding and coating,” said VK Gautam, business head of the company. Baba Products will offer UV coating machines under the segment while Multi Hitech will display magnetic and print rollers for label printing machines.
With these and many more innovative solutions, the label segment at Pamex will serve as a big attraction for the visitors, the organizers said. “We are designing a separate invite, which will have detailed information on the plans of exhibitors from the label segment at the show. This will attract more quality visitors who will get an idea of the extensive range of technologies they will get to see at the Show,” said Anil Arora, president, Print-Packaging.com, the co-organizer.
