Truepress Label 350UV SAI series

Screen Graphic Solutions has received Digital Press System Certification in the inkjet category for its Truepress Label 350UV SAI S* UV inkjet Label printing system. Testing and verification were carried out by Idealliance (International Digital Enterprise Alliance), a US-based provider of the G7+ color management certification. This makes the Truepress Label 350UV SAI S the industry’s first UV inkjet Label system to meet the CRPC7** standard for extra-large gamut printing processes, the company said in a release.

Idealliance only awards the Digital Press System Certification to presses that satisfy its demanding print quality standards. Its receipt confirms a system is a commercial grade inkjet press that is capable of delivering reliable color management and excellent print quality while maintaining a high level of productivity.

Screen GA says it has developed its Truepress Label 350UV SAI series specifically to provide high throughput and lot-size flexibility, enabling users to achieve tight turnaround times and true print-on-demand solutions. These presses also offer a wider color gamut thanks to their orange and blue inks and outstanding color reproduction and reliability for repeat printing, as well as their user-friendly operation during color matching and printing. This makes the presses ideal for matching demanding corporate brand colors throughout runs and across jobs.

Additionally, the series provides a number of advanced features including high opacity white mode, fade-resistant yellow ink and a digital primer option. When used with Screen GA’s Truepress ink LV02 series, specially developed to clear increasingly strict international regulations on ink components, the lineup is able to handle an expanded range of applications.

Since its full-scale launch in 2014, the Truepress Label 350UV series has built a reputation for outstanding reliability among customers worldwide. This enabled it to quickly surpass a total of 300 systems shipped in 2024.

With its testing for the Digital Press System Certification, Idealliance used CRPC7, the widest color gamut standard available. The evaluation verified the Truepress Label 350UV SAI S meets the established industry tolerances Idealliance has set forth in the areas of colorimetric accuracy, uniformity, repeatability, durability and registration.

This certification means the Truepress Label 350UV SAI S is the world’s first UV inkjet Label system to satisfy the stringent requirements of the CRPC7 standard. It also makes the press the second in Screen GA’s lineup of digital systems to be certified by Idealliance, following the Truepress JET 520HD+ in 2023, the release stated.

Going forward, Screen GA intends to remain focused on meeting the diverse needs of the Label printing industry and providing a varied range of high value adding solutions. These advances will help to drive the growth of the wider industry.

** CRPC (characterized reference printing conditions): These are the printing conditions recommended by Idealliance. CRPC7 defines the conditions for extra-large gamut printing processes, giving it the widest color gamut within the CRPC standards.
