Ultimate Tech, a frontrunner in imposition, nesting and finishing automation, will showcase an ultra dynamic performance workflow for the label market from file prep to finishing on a GM LC350 dynamic laser die-cutter. This workflow will be demonstrated at Labelexpo, being held in Barcelona from 16 – 19 September at the Ultimate Tech Booth L85 and GM Booth 3E67.
Labelexpo Europe is the world’s largest event for the label and package printing industry and label printers are looking for flexible technology to empower their eCommerce operations, as well as reduce the dependency on die-cut plates for both economic and environmental reasons.
This workflow is tailored towards digital printing technology and demonstrates the power of dynamic possibilities, combined with automated and smart workflow tools to tap into this opportunity fully by saving material, and a lot of operator setup time. During this event, the dynamic labels that will be demonstrated were printed by HP Indigo.
“By uniting smart workflow automation with cutting-edge print and finishing technology, we’re enabling label printers and converters to enter a new era—one where every label can be unique, yet produced with maximum efficiency, precision, and speed,” says Jos Kabouw, global sales manager at GM Finishing First.
“Ultimate Tech has 37 years of delivering powerful, effective and easy to use software to the print industry. With enhanced capability for smart label placement across lanes and fill of rolls to minimize waste, automatically without operator intervention, it delivers with Ultimate Impostrip a true best-in-class solution for digital label production,” says Julie Watson, Ultimate Tech CEO. “We are excited to showcase the possibilities of dynamic labels at Labelexpo with GM, as the LC350 offers the possibility to finish different shapes and sizes on the fly.”
Looking ahead, the future of label printing lies in intelligent automation, data-driven decision making, and AI-enhanced imposition. As digital and hybrid printing expand, the ability to adapt layout strategies in real time will define the next generation of label production.
