At Anuga FoodTec 2025 in Mumbai, Vinod Kumar Sharma, senior manager marketing at Domino Printech India LLP, shared insights on the company’s latest product launches and the response at the show.
Domino Printech introduced two new series at the exhibition – the DX series and the MX series. The DX series, an upgraded version of the earlier D series, is a CO₂ laser coding and marking solution. It offers improved performance and precision for applications requiring high-quality laser coding. The MX series, on the other hand, is a print-and-apply labelling machine designed for cartons and pallets. It prints and applies labels directly, streamlining secondary packaging processes.
Alongside these, the company also showcased its CIJ coding station, based on continuous inkjet technology, equipped with R-Vision inspection. This feature checks whether the labelling has been done correctly and automatically rejects any errors, ensuring high accuracy. Other solutions included fiber lasers under the CX series, capable of printing on materials such as plywood, further demonstrating the range of Domino’s coding and marking technologies.
Speaking about the exhibition, Sharma noted that footfall was relatively low compared to expectations, possibly due to the rain. However, he pointed out that many original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) present at the show were benefiting, as the event provided an opportunity to engage directly with them.
