ICMA, an Italian company that has been a leader in paper finishing for luxury packaging for over 90 years, is taking part in Luxe Pack Monaco 2025, the global event of reference for innovation and design in high-end packaging.
This year, the Mandello del Lario-based company will be exhibiting in a new location — the exclusive Galerie Diaghilev area – Booth GA08.
During the trade show, ICMA will present its internationally popular Prêt-à-Porter paper collections, which have set a benchmark in the luxury packaging landscape. These consist of twelve paper families offering a wide range of fine materials and sophisticated finishes, which are available in stock and designed to meet the needs of creative professionals and converters, combining aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
At Luxe Pack Monaco, visitors can discover the Wabi-Sabi and Kind collections, created using exclusively 100% recycled bases, Coppers, Metallic, Gold, and Silver, which transform paper into precious metals, Natural, Woods, andOpaques , which replicate natural tactile effects, and finally, the enduring collections Color, Animalier, and Velvet.
ICMA has opted for a responsible approach: some time ago, for the Prêt à Porter collections, it took the path of gradually replacing virgin cellulose bases with 100% recycled bases certified with the FSC Recycled Credit, wherever this is possible without jeopardizing the quality and aesthetic of the final product.
For those desiring even more exclusive solutions, ICMA provides its Tailor Made service, which enables customized papers to be created based on the customer’s specific requirements. With over 250 textures available, an extensive range of colors and finishes, and the option of choosing between smooth or embossed, coated or uncoated papers, the Tailor Made service allows for the creation of unique and distinctive products, ideal for any luxury packaging project.
ICMA has been a B Corp since 2020 and was the first European company in the paper sector to embrace the values of a new business paradigm focused on the common good. In June 2024, the company obtained a renewal of the certification, improving its score by over 22% compared to 2020.
This recognition bears witness to how ICMA’s personalized approach is not limited to the creation of tailored products but extends to a business model entirely steered towards sustainability and social responsibility. In fact, it also takes advantage of circular economy services, such as Rinascimento, which transforms the waste paper generated by clients during their production phase into 100% recycled creative papers used by the same clients for their packaging projects.
