Noida (Delhi-NCR)-based Sticwell Technologies has enhanced its label inspection and quality control capabilities with the installation of a Rhyguan SMART inspection platform and a Luster LabelMaster-F inspection system, supplied and installed by Flexo Image Graphics.

In addition to Rhyguan and Luster, FIG in India is an authorized channel partner of a host of other global brands, including Mark Andy, XSYS, IUV, Rotoflex, Kluge, KDS Quantum, Presstek, among others. Headquartered in Delhi, FIG has branch offices in Mumbai and Chennai, and a centralized ‘Customer Support Department.’

Sticwell Technologies said its investment in the Rhyguan and Luster systems reflects the company’s strong focus on maintaining precision, consistency, and reliability in production of diverse premium labels for different finished products and applications. The company serves a long list of customers based in the electronics, healthcare, pathology, and other segments.

Founded in 2014, Sticwell Technologies has expanded its manufacturing operations from Rudrapur in Uttarakhand to multiple facilities across Noida in Uttar Pradesh. From a small setup to a full-scale premium label manufacturer today, the company is a specialist in niche and technically demanding applications.

Divyansh Gupta and Ashish Gupta of Sticwell say they chose the new Rhyguan SMART machine, driven by their need for a highly automated total solution for label converting, slitting, rewinding, and perfect defect inspection. Built with a stable base, web path, and integrated servo-driven tension control systems, the Rhyguan platform eliminates vibration and prevents stretching while processing labels at high speeds up to 300m/min.

Combined with the Rhyguan, the Luster LabelMaster-F maintains 100% inspection accuracy, barcode verification, variable data checking, and defect detection in various critical applications. Divyansh and Ashish said the Luster system seamlessly handles sensitive applications where barcode duplications or printing inconsistencies can create operational challenges for end-users. They said, “It provides high-speed and high-accuracy inspection performance with advanced PrintingPlus 6.0 software architecture.”

The Luster LabelMaster-F identifies defects such as dirty spots, ink stains, missing print, misregistration, scratches, excessive glue, image blur, and varnishing defects, while supporting OCR, barcode, QR code, and variable data inspection. It inspects at speeds up to 200m/min with strong detection capability for extremely small and 3D defects such as bubbles, scratches, coating errors, and glue marks.

In addition to the combo of Rhyguan SMART and Luster LabelMaster-F, Sticwell Technologies runs a raft of label presses and other converting systems including flexographic and die-cutting machines, while continuously exploring the latest technologies to improve automation and production efficiency.

Gourav Roy, managing director, Flexo Image Graphics, said that amid the ongoing increase in market demands for variable data printing, serialization, authentication, and quality consistency, it has been noticed that advanced inspection systems become mandatory for progressive label converters.

The installation of the combo has empowered Sticwell Technologies to position itself as a quality-focused label manufacturer capable of handling sophisticated and critical applications with greater accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
