Jaipur-based Print O Land, one of the Pink City’s leading offset printing companies, has been relying on a couple of brand new Komori sheetfed offset presses for printing premium-quality commercial and packaging graphics – a Lithrone LS 429 and a Lithrone G37. According to the company, the new presses have helped improve quality and innovation in graphic prints, overall reliability and productivity at Print O Land.

“We bought the Lithrone LS 429 in 2010. Over the years, we have had a good experience of the 4-color Komori sheet-fed offset press, which boasts many added features and technological advancements such as fully-automated plate mounting, close loop color management, and many others,” said Vikash Agrawal of Print O Land. “We eventually went for another upgraded model—the Lithrone G37—which we bought last year.”

The two Komori sheetfed offset presses at Print O Land are currently handling the company’s overall commercial and packaging jobs. Alongside the Komori machines, a host of other four offset presses are part of the company’s current machine portfolio. “Following the installation of the Lithrone G37, we have enhanced our capability to handle varieties of stocks for newer applications in both the commercial and packaging arenas,” Agrawal said.

According to Agrawal, the Lithrone G37 enables high-efficiency production. The 37-inch Komori sheetfed offset press can operate at the maximum print speed of 15,000 sph (sheets per hour) for handling sheets up to maximum size of 640 x 940 mm. Stocks of diverse thicknesses, starting from 0.04 mm up to 0.6 mm, are handled by the Lithrone G37 to create high-value varnish and speciality finishes.

Founded in the year 1977, Print O Land has been growing under the mentorship of PN Agrawal. A team of more than 20 highly-skilled commercial printing and packaging professionals take care of customer demand and desire for quality graphic prints and end-products. Most of the company’s clients are from textiles, jewellery, arts, and other segments.

About the company’s plans, Agrawal said they will keep moving ahead with newer machines and technologies for offering more enhanced prints and end-products in superior quality. “Doubtless to say that we will never stop upgrading our machine portfolio with timely additions of more advanced and capable machines, unquestionably from Komori India.”

Agrawal praised the post-sales service of Komori India. Print O Land bought the Lithrone LS 429 from a Komori channel partner in 2010 – before the launch of Komori India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Komori Corporation (Japan), in the country in 2018.
