ALPLA is launching a recyclable solution made of polypropylene. With this innovation, the global packaging and recycling specialist is expanding its portfolio to include a single-variety option for personal care and pharma products. The injection molding division ALPLAinject will present this foamer pump with twistlock function at Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai in October 2026.
Completely metal-free: ALPLA’s recyclable foam dispenser pump is made of mono-material plastic. The patented system made of polypropylene weighs only 25 grams for a standard version and saves space during transport and on the shelf, thanks to the twistlock function. With this innovative new product, ALPLA is adding another category to its portfolio of pumps. The global packaging and recycling specialist already has several versions of a mono-material dispenser on the market.
“Premium care products deserve high-quality and well-designed packaging. The dispenser is the most important point of contact. We can offer our customers a tailor-made, durable and, for the first time, recyclable solution for foamers,” said Sree Hari R Nair, global head of business pumps and devices at ALPLAinject. Following the successful pilot phase, ALPLA intends to work with anchor customers for commercial production.
Advantage through recyclability
With the mono-material foam dispenser, the company is already meeting tomorrow’s regulatory requirements today. The system is suitable for bottles with various volume sizes. It is available in a standard version and allows for a wide range of customization. Customers can individually choose the color and shape of the head and closure and reduce the ecological footprint through the use of post-consumer recycled material (PCR).
The product development builds on the success of the mono-material dispenser pump and underlines the ambitions of the injection molding division ALPLAinject. “We are always striving for better solutions for people and the environment. With our mono-material foam dispenser, we are pushing the technical boundaries and supporting major brand manufacturers in their sustainability goals,” emphasizes Michael Feltes, managing director of ALPLAinject. In addition, the recyclable system strengthens the circular economy in the national markets.
The product will be presented at Beautyworld Middle East from 6 to 8 October 2026 in Dubai.
