AG Poly Packs, a rigid plastic packaging manufacturer with consolidated revenue of about ₹300 crore in FY2025-26, is merging its wholly owned subsidiary AG Petuela into the parent company. The move follows strong growth at AG Petuela’s Umbergaon, Gujarat facility. Its annual revenue has risen from about ₹18 crore at acquisition in September 2024 to about ₹48 crore.
The growth came from capacity expansion, higher utilization and integration with the group’s technology and processes. The acquisition added ASB injection stretch blow molding, stretch blow molding and multilayer capabilities to the group’s portfolio. Injection molding capacity at the site has also doubled since the acquisition.
The merger follows the earlier merger of Midas Poly Packs into AG Poly Packs. Together, the two steps bring the group’s manufacturing operations in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh under a single entity. The single entity is expected to simplify compliance, allow working capital to move more efficiently between plants, and give customers and lenders one counterparty with one set of financials.
“Umbergaon shows how we create value: buy the right capability, invest in capacity, and bring it up to group standards,” said Gaurav Daga, managing director, AG Poly Packs. “Bringing all our plants into one company means our customers deal with one partner, and our balance sheet is ready for what comes next. We are building towards ₹750 crore by 2030 through organic growth, new product platforms and selective acquisitions. A unified structure makes each of those faster.”
Alongside the consolidation, the group has strengthened its in-house R&D, built out its own tool room for faster mold development, and sharpened its strategy for international markets. The group has also launched Project Infinity, a long-term growth initiative expected to contribute about ₹150 crore in revenue by 2030.
The company is targeting a top line of about ₹750 crore by 2030, through acquisitions and strategic projects alongside organic expansion. According to the company, the consolidation supports that plan directly. A single entity with pooled assets, one balance sheet and one set of financials is simpler to present to lenders, partners and prospective investors, and gives the group a cleaner platform from which to fund its next phase of growth.
