IEEC Power Electronics will showcase its corona and plasma treatment technologies at Loupe India 2026, slated from 29 October to 1 November, 2026 at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR. The company will focus on solutions designed to improve adhesion, productivity, and process reliability.
At Loupe India 2026, the company will highlight its DBD plasma treatment system with an integrated ozone destructor, developed particularly for the label and narrow-web converting segment. In addition, IEEC will showcase a high-power corona treatment system for digital presses and sheet treatment applications.
“Today’s converters require reliable surface treatment that delivers consistent results at higher speed without increasing downtime or operating costs,” said Rohit Deshpande, owner, IEEC. The company’s solutions provide consistent treatment across varying line speeds while improving ink, coating and adhesive adhesion on difficult substrates, he said.
Technologies on display include IEEC’s DBD plasma treatment system for flexographic and digital label presses. It is designed to address challenging, low-surface-energy substrates where achieving reliable adhesion can be difficult.
Alongside, visitors will see the company’s Ozonash (ozone destructor system), its sheet corona treatment system, the high-power corona treatment system for applications such as UV spot varnish, 3D varnish and digital hot foiling, and a double-side corona treatment system for both-side printing.
Its stand at Loupe India will have a live demonstration of its ARM processor-based modular generator panel, featuring a touchscreen HMI and intelligent process control. The modular design has a compact footprint and can also be installed inside a flexographic printing press.
According to Deshpande, easier operation and maintenance are important as converters seek to maximize machine utilization. “We help converters by reducing energy consumption through intelligent power management and minimizing maintenance with simplified electronics, pullout ceramic cartridge treating stations and maintenance-free HT transformers,” he said.
The company expects sustainability, automation and digitalization to remain key drivers of the Indian label and packaging market over the next two to three years. Hybrid printing, particularly the combination of flexographic and digital technologies, is expected to gain greater relevance. At the same time, the adoption of recyclable, mono-material and PCR-based packaging is likely to increase the demand for advanced surface treatment technologies.
“Surface treatment will play an increasingly important role in achieving reliable adhesion on these next-generation packaging materials,” Deshpande said.
At Loupe India, IEEC’s technical team will be available to discuss application-specific challenges with converters, OEMs and packaging professionals.
Through live demonstrations and technical discussions, the company aims to showcase how advanced corona and DBD plasma technologies can support print quality, coating performance and production efficiency across modern label and packaging applications.
