Mespack

Mespack, a leading international manufacturer of innovative and sustainable flexible and turnkey packaging solutions, has announced the launch of the new CS | CL Cartoner Series. This secondary packaging solution has been developed to offer efficient, compact, and fully integrated cartoning for sachet and stickpack applications.

The new cartoner has been introduced at Interpack as part of a complete turnkey solution, which is integrated with Mespack’s vertical MLC Series, thus highlighting the company’s ability to design and deliver fully coordinated lines from primary to secondary packaging and end-of-line. Simultaneously, the CS | CL Cartoner Series has been designed with maximum flexibility. As a result, seamless integration with any Mespack HFFS or VFFS machine is achieved, as well as adaptation to different production needs and layouts.

MLC Series: High-speed vertical for sachets

The MLC Series is Mespack’s high-performance vertical multi-lane solution, specifically designed to manage larger formats produced with a continuous sealing system. Notwithstanding elevated speeds, this series ensures stable production, high output, and excellent seal quality due to its servo-motorized architecture, precise forming area, and continuous sealing unit.

Ideal to operate as part of turnkey projects, the MLC Series delivers a consistent and controlled product flow to the secondary packaging stage. This enables configurations of up to 12 sachets per carton, subject to the product and line setup. The MLC Series, which is fully compatible with  Mespack’s Athena digital platform, ensures not only synchronized operation across the entire line, but also optimized efficiency.

Compact, servo-driven cartoning

The CS | CL Cartoner Series has been engineered as a compact, servo-driven solution that ensures precise product handling, smooth operation, and a reduced line footprint. From product infeed to carton forming, loading and closing, the solution guarantees consistent performance,  repeatability, and high-quality carton presentation.

Fully integrated with Mespack’s Athena control platform, the cartoner behaves as a natural extension of the primary packaging machine,  which simplifies operation, recipe management, and line coordination. In the turnkey configuration, presented with the MLC Series at Interpack 2026, the complete line delivers a total output of up to 50 cartons per minute.

The range includes CS Series (specifically designed to bundle and perfectly align stickpacks into cartons) and CL Series (developed to accommodate sachets into cartons).

Multiple infeed configurations from both VFFS and HFFS machines are available, along with optional hot melt closing systems, which ensure adaptability to a variety of product types and market requirements.

Turnkey solutions

Mespack’s turnkey approach goes beyond machine integration. By acting as a single responsible supplier, Mespack provides customers with a complete vision and control of the packaging line,  from primary packaging to secondary packaging and end-of-line solutions.

This approach results in higher overall efficiency, optimized layouts, reduced interfaces between suppliers, and faster commissioning. Mespack’s profound expertise in flexible packaging enables the design of lines with components that operate in perfect harmony, thus maximizing performance, reliability,  and long-term cost efficiency for customers.

According to Joan Marty, sales product manager of secondary packaging and turnkey solutions at Mespack, “The combination of the MLC Series with the new CS | CL Cartoner Series perfectly reflects our turnkey philosophy. We are not just connecting machines; we are engineering complete, optimized packaging lines. This approach allows our customers to benefit from a single  partner, a fully synchronized line, and a solution designed to perform as one system.”

With the launch of the CS | CL Cartoner Series, Mespack continues to expand its secondary packaging capabilities and reinforce its turnkey value proposition. Visitors to Interpack will be able to discover this integrated solution firsthand at the Mespack stand (Hall 6, Booth B73),  where the company will showcase how primary and secondary packaging can be seamlessly combined into smarter, more efficient production lines.
