Konica Minolta, a specialist in digital printing solutions, expects Loupe India 2026, scheduled from 29 October and 1 November in Greater Noida, to provide a strong platform to engage with label converters, professional print providers, and industry stakeholders, while gaining a deeper understanding of the evolving requirements and opportunities within the label printing ecosystem.

According to Manish Gupta, head of product lifecycle management and planning division, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India, as brands increasingly seek customized, differentiated, and market-specific labels, digital printing is creating opportunities to complement conventional production with greater flexibility and responsiveness.

“Through our participation, we look forward to demonstrating how digital label solutions can help businesses manage diverse job profiles, improve production agility, enhance application capabilities, and explore new market opportunities in addition to complementing their existing setup of conventional flexo,” Gupta said.

“We believe the growing focus on digitalization, workflow automation, application flexibility and higher-value label production will be among the key highlights at this edition. As brands explore customized, regional and limited-edition packaging, converters look for technologies that can efficiently handle greater job diversity and changing production requirements while maintaining productivity and print quality,” he said. Capabilities such as variable printing, personalization, on-demand production and substrate versatility will gain greater relevance, he said.

“We expect the exhibition to provide a valuable platform to explore how digital technologies can complement existing production environments and help businesses develop more agile and application-driven print operations.”

At Loupe India 2026, Konica Minolta will showcase its existing digital label printing portfolio and demonstrate its applications, rather than announcing a specific new product launch. The company will showcase the Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 and AccurioLabel 400, along with Accurio Pro Flux workflow automation software, so visitors can experience their capabilities and see how they address different production and workflow requirements.

The exhibition will provide an opportunity to engage with customers and industry stakeholders, understand their evolving business needs and demonstrate how its solutions can work alongside both analog and digital production environments.

Gupta said, “Our solutions address different production requirements within the digital label printing segment. The AccurioLabel 230 is designed for small to medium-volume label jobs, with print speeds of up to 23.4 meters per minute, supporting applications suitable for personalization, versioning and on-demand production. The AccurioLabel 400, designed for higher production volumes, offers speeds of up to 39.9 meters per minute and features a fifth color station with white toner. The machine features an Image Quality Optimizer unit for uniform color, which helps in automating multiple tasks to ensure color consistency.”

Overall, this enables printing on transparent and colored substrates and supports applications such as no-label-look designs, giving converters greater creative flexibility and access to differentiated label applications.

The market is increasingly looking for solution providers that can go beyond supplying printing equipment and deliver greater application flexibility, productivity, automation and overall business value, he explained.

With label businesses managing varied customer requirements and application demands, they need technologies to integrate with existing production environments and provide the flexibility to handle different types of jobs efficiently and accelerate the path from enquiry to quotation.

“Factors such as reliability, print quality, workflow efficiency, ease of operation, application expertise and customer support are therefore becoming increasingly important. Solution providers will need to work as technology and application partners, helping businesses optimize their operations while identifying new opportunities for growth,” he notes.

For Gupta, the Indian label printing industry continues to see growing interest in digital label printing, supported by evolving customer expectations around customization, differentiated packaging, production flexibility and responsiveness. While Konica Minolta would prefer to assess the exact market growth through specific industry data, the increasing interest in digital technologies indicates a positive opportunity for the segment.

“Digital label printing is increasingly being viewed not simply as an alternative to conventional production, but as a complementary capability that allows converters and professional print providers to address diverse applications, optimize their production mix and explore new value-added and revenue-generating opportunities,” he concluded.
