Nippon Color's Vorey AuraCut A6 digital label die-cutter at Loupe India 2026

Nippon Color will showcase the Vorey AuraCut A6 digital label die-cutter and introduce its DMS digital embellishment solution at Loupe India 2026, scheduled for 29 October to 1 November 2026 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Delhi NCR.

The company will demonstrate how digital finishing and embellishment technologies can help label converters manage shorter runs, increasing SKU counts and faster turnaround requirements.

At hall no. 11, stand J39, visitors will be able to explore technologies aimed at reducing make-ready time, minimising material wastage and improving production flexibility.

The Vorey AuraCut A6, one of Vorey’s best-selling digital label die-cutting solutions, will be a key attraction. The machine enables digital half-cutting without conventional dies, eliminating die-making requirements and reducing setup time and associated waste. This makes it particularly relevant for short and medium production runs, where the cost and time involved in conventional tooling can affect profitability.

The AuraCut A6 is equipped with six cutting heads, seven slitters, and a CCD camera system for automatic job changeover. These features are designed to simplify finishing operations and reduce manual intervention when switching between jobs.

“The conversation is not simply about replacing a conventional die-cutter; it is about making the entire finishing process faster, more flexible and less dependent on manual intervention,” Akshat Pardiwala, director of business development at Nippon Color, said.

Another technology being introduced at Loupe India is DMS, the company’s digital embellishment solution. Using inkjet technology to apply clear varnish, the system can perform cold foiling or hot foiling, with both capabilities available within the same machine. Digital embellishment can help converters produce premium effects, including spot UV and foiling, without the plates, dies and extensive setup traditionally associated with these processes.

Pardiwala sees opportunities for such solutions as brand owners increasingly seek distinctive labels, personalized designs and multiple product variants. By reducing the setup requirements for embellishment, digital technology can make premium finishes more accessible for shorter runs and a wider range of SKUs.

“The real value is flexibility, producing the right quantity, with the right level of customisation, at the right turnaround time,” Pardiwala said, highlighting the changing economics of label production.

Looking ahead, he expects automation and digitalization to become increasingly interconnected. With skilled manpower becoming more difficult and expensive to manage, automated job changeover, camera-based systems, digital workflows and simplified machine operation will become important considerations for converters. He also expects printing, embellishment and die-cutting to become more integrated within automated production environments.

At Loupe India 2026, the company aims to encourage visitors to consider digitalization as a complete production approach rather than simply an alternative printing method. By combining digital printing, embellishment and die-cutting, converters can explore ways to improve productivity, reduce waste and respond more economically to changing customer requirements.
