At Loupe India 2026, Domino Printech India will launch a new product in India aimed at label converters and commercial printers looking to enter digital printing with ease.

At Loupe India 2026 from 29 October to 1 November at Greater Noida’s India Expo Centre, Domino Printech India will launch a new product in India aimed at label converters and commercial printers looking to enter digital printing with ease.

Domino provides coding and marking solutions for healthcare, beauty and cosmetics, food, industrial products, cables and wires, automotive, packaging, eCommerce, and others. Its India operations include a manufacturing and warehousing facility in Manesar, where it is developing a digital printing center of excellence.

The company will also showcase its K300 and K600i high-speed monochrome printing solutions, which support variable data printing and track-and-trace applications, including QR codes that are used across labels, packaging and security printing.

On display will be the GX Pro and Cx150i coding and marking solutions, used for applications such as back numbering on label release liners, helping converters track label quantity and manage production.

Ajay Rao Rane, vice president – Digital Printing Solutions at Domino Printech India, said, “India is an important market for Domino. We have believed in listening to customers and understanding the needs of label converters. At previous editions, we introduced new solutions to the Indian market, and Loupe India 2026 will be no different.”

At the 2022 edition, Domino demonstrated a complete hybrid printing line built around its seven-color Domino N610i. The solution combined digital printing with inline cold foiling and different varnishing options, allowing customers to produce a wide range of label applications on one line, he added.

“We installed this solution with a commercial printer who entered label printing with Domino. Today, they use the machine for labels, shrink sleeves, in-mold labels and laminated tubes,” Rao Rane said.

At the 2024 edition, Domino introduced the Domino N610i-H, a compact hybrid solution with inline priming and varnishing. “This allows converters to complete more of the printing process in a single run, reducing the need for separate finishing operations. The response was encouraging, and we have since installed units in India. Customers use these machines to meet the demand for short and medium print runs,” he said.

At Loupe India 2026, Domino is continuing this tradition by introducing a new product for the Indian market, Rao Rane, said the company believes it will be of interest to label converters and commercial printers who are considering digital printing but are looking for a suitable entry point.

“We want to help more printers explore digital printing and identify new business opportunities. We look forward to meeting customers, understanding their requirements and demonstrating how our solutions can support their business growth. We hope to secure initial installations of the new press in the current financial year,” he added.

He said they want to have meaningful interactions with label converters, commercial printers, brand owners and packaging development professionals.

Indian label industry

According to Rao Rane, India’s label industry has significant growth potential. With the Indian economy continuing to develop and per capita packaging consumption still growing, he sees considerable opportunities for the label and packaging industry in the years ahead.

“The growth of modern retail, eCommerce and quick commerce, along with the emergence of new brands, is creating demand for better product presentation and more attractive packaging. Brands are looking for ways to stand out on the shelf and connect better with consumers, and labels play an important role in this,” he said.

Digital printing adds another dimension to this opportunity, he said, adding it allows converters to produce shorter runs, respond quickly to changing market needs, reduce the need to hold large inventories of printed labels and offer customized designs and variable data printing. These capabilities can help converters serve their customers more flexibly and explore new business opportunities.

As more converters explore digital printing, there is an opportunity for the technology to grow in India, he said. “We remain positive about the potential for further installations in the current financial year and beyond. Adoption will depend on customers’ business needs and investment plans. At the same time, growing competition among equipment suppliers gives customers more options to consider.”
