The winner is Arvind Sekhar of the multi-locational commercial and security printng and label and packaging group — Sai Security Printing and Packaging. Sai Security and Packaging have offices and plants in Bangalore, Delhi, and Faridabad. The group which runs sheetfed presses for book and board printing also runs mid-web presses for security and forms printing and Aquaflex 8 and12-unit narrow web label presses. The company is currently expanding and modernizing its plant Bangalore and building a brand new 100,000 square foot plant in Faridabad. Arvind Shekhar will be attending Interpack with software product manager Sweta Raghavan.
Arvind Sekhar is keen to visit Interpack 08 to apprise himself of the new trends in packaging and converting. In addition, Sai Security and Packaging are looking to partner and collaborate with international packaging and converting companies for their expansion and growth in new technologies and markets.
The winner of the Cox and Kings package tour to Interpack was chosen on 31 March by a computerized random drawing from among the 415 new subscribers to Packaging South Asia since October 2007. The two other winners also selected that day who will be awarded inkjet printers are O.P. Goyal, Director and Vikas Gupta, GM International Trading both from JK Paper.
