HB Fuller, an adhesive manufacturing company, introduced its hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) during Labelexpo India 2018. The product works on a variety of substrates. The eCommerce industry in India is growing at a rapid pace and aith the increase in online shopping, courier bags have become a very important source of delivery. This in turn leads to a demand for safe and tamper-proof courier bags. India has 374 million internet subscribers and 1.17 billion mobile subscribers.
Contributing to this growing importance of courier bags, HB Fuller introduced Lunamelt PS 4015 sealing adhesive at the event. The hot melt adhesive was designed by the company’s German team. The adhesive has now been made available to the Indian market and is being produced in HB Fuller’s office at Pune, Maharashtra.
“Lunamelt PS 4015 is ideally suited to the Indian climate. The Indian conditions support the product to deliver excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates,” said a company spokesperson at the HB Fuller stand.
Developed for self-adhesive bonding of PE bags, this hot-melt PSA combines tack and adhesion properties with increased cohesion and temperature resistance. The PSA also supports foamed polystyrene, aluminum, paper and rock wool. This makes Lunamelt an ideal product for quick adhesion and also suitable for any tape or label product that requires high tack and quick grab.
Talking about the event, the spokesperson said, “We’re extremely happy with the show. We have even received a number of leads over the last two days and are expecting more in the following days. The demand for our new product has been phenomenal.”
