The company manufactures glass containers and specialty glass under the brand AGI Glaspac to meet the quality standard packaging needs of food, pharmaceuticals, soft drinks, spirits, beer, wine, and other industries. The Gurugram-based company, with production plants in Hyderabad, Mothighanapur, Bhongir, Dharwad, and Dehradun, claims to have the largest unit in Asia for cosmetic glass furnace at its Hyderabad specialty glass plant.

AGI sells liquor bottles to SAARC countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka), with the largest portion of these exports going to Nepal and Bhutan. The company also makes premium colored and decorative bottles incorporating any type of coating, printing, or hot foil stamping.

Over the years, our consistent investments in R&D and technology have enhanced our operational efficiencies, enabling us to secure a significant market share,” Abheek Banerjee, deputy manager, sales and marketing, said. “We continue to focus on improving our capabilities across our manufacturing plants by constantly upgrading our manufacturing processes.”

According to Banerjee, AGI Glaspac has been designing and manufacturing glass bottles and jars for over 49 years. “We are still leading the way in quality, flexibility, and innovation. We have a wide range of general sale glass containers for the food, pharmaceutical, and beverage markets. We have an in-house design team, offering a complete service for glass packaging, from concept to manufacture and decoration.”

About Intrapac, Banerjee said that although it took place for the first time, the show has been beneficial for the company, and as more and more editions go by Banerjee is sure that the company’s value-added service in premium packaging will attract more visitors and receive better business opportunities.
