At Anuga FoodTec in Mumbai, Impel Services highlighted a new range of end-of-line packaging solutions from its Stelda brand. Speaking at the event, Himanshu Mehta, marketing executive at Impel Services, said the company presented three key machines designed to deliver efficiency, sustainability, and product protection.

The first was the Case Erector CE 6T, a patented in-house development by Stelda’s R&D team. Unlike conventional case erectors that require a large footprint, the CE60 offers a compact design, making it highly suitable for space-conscious manufacturing setups.

The second highlight was the EcoSeal, a next-generation sealing solution that replaces conventional plastic taping with hot-glue sealing. EcoSeal creates tamper-evident seals, ensuring secure packaging that prevents infestation, leakage, and transit damage. It also offers a more sustainable option by reducing plastic consumption.

EcoSeal is available in two models: Core and Duo. The Duo version combines glue sealing with a single center tape for products that demand extra protection. Impel Services also offers an EcoSeal Ready version, which allows manufacturers to start with tape sealing and later upgrade to glue sealing on the same machine without additional capital expenditure.

The third innovation is the TCP 15 top collar placer, designed specifically for tin cans used in industries such as edible oils and petroleum products. By placing a protective collar on the cans, the system enhances stackability and prevents damage during storage and transport.

Talking about the event, Mehta said that footfall was satisfactory given the adverse weather on the first day of the expo.
