Orange Printers
Roy Thomas and Sajith BS with Komori Lithrone GL37

Trivandrum-based Orange Printers specializes in specialty packaging, commercial printing, label manufacturing, creative designing, and providing pre-media solutions. The multi-specialty printer recently upgraded its fleet of machines with a brand new Komori Lithrone G37.

The printing and production facility of Orange Printers consists of multicolor offset presses, digital color production presses, flexographic label presses, and a string of post-press equipment. Among the latest additions to the fleet is the four-color Lithrone G37, bought from Komori India. The company has been a loyal user of Komori presses over the years.

Founded by Roy Thomas and Sajith BS in the year 2008, Orange Printers is known and acknowledged for its service and print outputs encompassing commercial printing and package conversion.

“When it comes to embracing the ongoing trends and traditions in the printing and packaging industries, we never remain reluctant. Our recent investment in the brand new Lithrone G37 is part of our constant upgrading practice and tradition,” says Roy.

On why they chose the Lithrone G37, Roy said, “We have been a Komori loyalist over the last 15 years. Before this new Lithrone press, our production facility had four highly advanced and efficient Komori presses.”

“However, we found the Lithrone G37 suitable for short-run jobs. Its overall make-ready times, non-wastage, and color configuration are highly laudable. The PDC-SX feature enables automatic registration, color control, and color measurement in one process.”

As a compact 37-inch sheetfed offset press, Lithrone G37 is engineered to print high-quality short-run applications. This machine is known for its reliability, speed, and ability to handle a variety of printing needs, including all commercial and packaging applications.

It features an advanced control system (KHS-AI) capable of operating at a maximum printing speed of 15,000sph. “We have optimized our printing and productivity with this new and versatile Komori press,” Roy says.

Backed by a team of more than 200 printing specialists, Orange Printers, under the brand
Orangeexpress, provides a variety of commercial printing and packaging solutions.

The company has bagged the National Award for Excellence in Printing (NAEP), Chanakya Award by PRCI (Public Relations Council of India), and International Business Excellence Award from WMC in Switzerland.
