At Anuga FoodTec India 2025 in Mumbai in August, Canny Coverage Packaging, a prominent pouch packaging machinery manufacturer, presented its latest solutions such as pouch sealing systems, rotary pre-form fill seal (PFS) equipment, and fully automated packaging technologies.
In a conversation, Devanshi Dalal from Canny Coverage traced the company’s three-decade journey, starting with a sealing machine and diversifying over the years into masala packaging machines, rice packaging machines, and all types of packaging machines in Surat. “We started with a small sealing machine, but today we have a rotary sealing machine that can pick the pouch, fill it, and seal it — all automatically,” she said.
With a client base of more than 10,000, Canny Coverage has more than 25,000 installations, serving businesses ranging from startups to leading FMCG and food industry players. According to Dalal, their machines have consistently helped clients improve efficiency, reduce manual interventions, and scale their operations.
Canny Coverage presented three of its most in-demand products, the rotary pick-fill-seal machine (PFS), compact PFS machine, and servo bagging machine. The 8-station rotary PFS machine automates the process of picking up the pouch, filling it with the product, and sealing it. Designed with flexibility in mind, the dual stand allows operators to switch between packing powders using auger fillers or granules using multi-head weighers.
The compact PFS machine, as stated by Dalal, is targeted at businesses with smaller-scale operations. The company has developed a compact version of its PFS system. This 3-station machine focuses on essential operations — picking, filling, and sealing — offering a cost-effective and space-efficient packaging solution.
The bagging machine on display had a output of 100 pouches per minute. Dalal emphasized the superior sealing quality of the system, pointing it to be an ideal choice for clients prioritizing both speed and consistency in their production lines.
Dalal expressed optimism about the event’s impact on the company’s outreach and customer acquisition. “The exhibition has been great so far. From last year to this year, we have got many potential clients and leads, which have helped us grow a lot,” she noted.
The company plans to expand its customer base— not just among large corporations but also emerging startups in the FMCG and food packaging sectors. “We are a little behind, but we are improving and growing. From Anuga FoodTec this year, we expect to create a good customer base,” Dalal added.
Canny Coverage envisions becoming a leading pouch packaging machinery supplier within the next five years. The company plans to strengthen its position not only in India but also across international markets.
