Koenig & Bauer drew strong interest from visitors during the Print4All 2025 trade fair in Milan, held from 27 to 30 May. The company showcased its packaging production capabilities across two locations—Hall 11 and the Corrugated Experience Hub in Hall 9—offering an overview of its technologies and services for folding carton, label, commercial, and corrugated packaging applications.
Focus on end-to-end packaging production
At its stand in Hall 11, Koenig & Bauer presented itself as a full-service partner for packaging production. Visitors could explore the company’s integrated offering across the entire folding carton production value chain—from prepress and printing through to die-cutting and gluing.
The presentation included live demonstrations and systems such as LogoTronic, JobOptimiser, Optimus Dash, and PrintFusion, which are part of the company’s myKyana ecosystem. A particular highlight was the Omega Allpro 55 folder gluer, shown in live operation producing longitudinal seam cartons at speeds of up to 400 m/min.
Corrugated Experience Hub: technologies for corrugated packaging
In Hall 9, Koenig & Bauer concentrated its expertise in corrugated packaging under the umbrella of the Corrugated Experience Hub. Specialists from Koenig & Bauer Celmacch presented the Chroma series for printing and die-cutting, covering a range from standard configurations to highly automated systems with rapid job changes and high print quality.

Flexo and digital printing for flexible packaging production
The company provided insights into its central impression (CI) flexo portfolio for printing on films, paper, and board, suited to applications such as shopping bags and gift wrap, as well as folding cartons. Visitors were introduced to the RotaJET webfed digital press, which is designed for cost-effective, high-quality production of customized folding cartons and variable print runs.
Integrated brand protection technologies
Koenig & Bauer’s Vision & Protection division showcased technologies designed to integrate brand protection features into the printing process. These include Stegano, which embeds data invisibly into printed artwork; Ovjera, for product identification; and Daktylo, which enables unique feature recognition. These non-invasive, optical-neutral technologies are intended to support brand security while offering new business opportunities for packaging printers.
The company also introduced the “Protected at Print” initiative, aimed at enabling printers to deliver product protection directly during printing. The initiative is positioned to support printers in expanding their service offerings while reducing reliance on external suppliers.
Strong response and new business from Italian market
Several companies made new investments during the fair. Grafica Artistica Meridionale (G.A.M.) from Salerno ordered a Rapida 106 with eight printing units and a coater, scheduled for installation in October. G.A.M. also acquired the Omega Allpro 55 folder gluer that had been demonstrated live at the stand. Additional orders were placed for two medium-format and one large-format Rapida presses.
