Provin Technos, the Indian distributor of Chinese press manufacturer Spande, has signed a deal for another press, its second, to be installed in India. While the customer’s name has not been revealed, the highly configured press is for a special application that is generally addressed by machines from high-end European manufacturers.

Readers will recall that the first Spande label press in India is a highly configured and automated S7 8-color press with two diecutting units and a lamination unit installed at Citrus Packaging’s new unit in Hyderabad. The Citrus press with chilled impression cylinders, Spande’s iPressure feature for automatic adjustments, a sheeter, and hybrid curing using LED-UV, UV, and hot air. It also has Spande’s iVision intelligent autoregister, which matches imaging with production speeds without any manual intervention.

Apart from the recent sale of the second Spande press into India, Provin has announced that the Spande press will be shown at the upcoming LOUPE India (formerly Labelexpo India) show in Greater Noida from 29 October to 1 November 2026.
