At India CorrExpo 2025 in September, DGM highlighted its corrugated product range and announced deals with leading packaging companies in India. DGM spotlighted several advanced machines designed to meet the growing demands of the corrugated segment.

The company has significantly scaled its die-cutter lineup, expanding from its earlier 1050 size to larger 1200, 1450, and 1650 size variants. “These machines now support top feeder, bottom feeder, and lead-edge feeder systems, offering flexibility for diverse packaging requirements,” Puneet Agarwal, managing director, DGM India, told Packaging South Asia

Another highlight was the Megafold series of folder gluers, specially designed to handle 3-ply, 5-ply, and 7-ply corrugated boards. According to Agarwal, two Megafold machines are already operational at Miracle in Kolkata, while a fully loaded machine with 4- and 6-ply capabilities has been installed at Megdoot Packaging in Rudrapur.

The flute laminator, according to Agarwal, has been well-received in the market. The fully servo-driven models in 1450 and 1650 sizes have already seen strong traction, with 10 installations in the last two years. “Slowly and steadily, the flute laminator is becoming an essential machine in the Indian corrugated industry,” Agarwal noted.

DGM also highlighted its T-Fold series, folder gluer available in 1650, 2000, 2400, 2800, and 3000 sizes, at the Greater Noida show. Highlighting the machine’s specifications, he said the model eliminates minimum side panel size limitations and offers a fully servo-driven system. Highly popular in China and the international markets, DGM is now evaluating its potential for the Indian market.

DGM also showcased its Colt counter bundling machine, designed to count, bundle, and staple output efficiently. The company has a verbal commitment for the machine in India.

Major deals in India

Alongside its product display, DGM shared updates on significant business deals. The company recently signed a package deal with Canpac, covering five machines across Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata and a new plant in Noida.

In addition, DGM closed another five-machine deal with Mumbai-based Speciality Papers, a publication house that has diversified into packaging. Their order includes three folder gluers and two die-cutters. Agarwal mentioned they had a verbal commitment from a company in southern India for a folder gluer, in the exhibition itself.

Asked about the corrugated industry’s growth, Agarwal emphasized the important role of corrugated cartons in master packaging. “Your primary packaging can be anything—carton, plastic, flexible, or glass. But master packaging is always corrugated,” he said.
