The Holostik Group, an anti-counterfeiting solutions company, will showcase its holograms and security labels at drupa 2024 in Düsseldorf from 28 May to 7 June. The anti-counterfeiting solutions provider has also expanded its production with the recent installation of a Bobst flexo press.

The company provides its range of products for security printing and holography for the packaging, agriculture, FMCG, electronics, apparel, sports, pharma, agro, automobiles, and liquor industries. Managing director Ankit Gupta constant technological growth is the need of the hour. “It becomes a game of USP. Whoever can provide better solutions at a faster pace takes the lead.”

Holostik has been in the holography business for around three decades. “First, we were holography providers to the nation, then we became holographers to the world. And then, we became your authentication solution partner. Now we are authenticating the supply chain, securing lives with our anti-counterfeit solutions,” Gupta said.

According to Gupta, holography is only one side of the group’s business. “We provide security inks and security printing coming from patterns, variable data from barcodes, QR codes, and alphanumeric numbers, and then the whole digital side, where we integrate physical solutions with digital. In digital, we can create a traceability solution that tracks and traces the entire supply chain right from manufacturing, to retail, and all the way to the end-consumer,” he said.

Anti-counterfeiting is an ongoing game, so we have to keep innovating. Even now, we are working on technologies and innovations that we will potentially launch in 2025. At Holostik, we always have to think two years in advance if not more – it’s a constant innovation game. I think of us as a system integrator who’s able to combine different technologies, bring them together at the right price point for consumers and brands,” he said.

At Drupa, Holostik expects to connect with brand owners, distributors, and decision-makers across industries such as pharma, FMCG, automobiles, and agro. It also looks forward to innovations and security solutions at various touchpoints.
