Jodhpur-based Gehlot Printech, a manufacturer of flexographic printing machines, displayed its 200-meter/minute permanent printing machine, the EPL (electronic line softdrive), at the PlastIndia exhibition in New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan.

Ravi Gehlot from Gehlot Printech told Packaging South Asia that the machine offers “perfect registration and good results.” “It works for jobs that require less quantity and higher precision. Flexible packaging is the requirement of the day and its future is very bright. More automation and more quality-consciousness among customers are some of the trends in the industry.”

The company supplies its machines all across India and to countries in Africa and the Middle East and plans to target the US and South America.

The future is very bright in plastics, he explained. “We should use it judiciously so that our society remains clean. If you use plastics properly, it is a boon. But if you are negligent, then it is a bane,” Gehlot said.
