GLS Speciality Chemicals, a leading manufacturer of printing inks, lamination adhesives, and specialty chemicals, is participating in IntraPac India 2025, scheduled from 10 to 13 December at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. At Hall 10, Stand B35A, the company will highlight its advanced product portfolio, customer-centric approach, and regulatory-driven innovations customized for the flexible packaging industry.
Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Angshuman Mukherjee, CEO of GLS Speciality Chemicals, emphasized the objective behind their participation. “Our presence at IntraPac India 2025 is aligned with our mission to empower the packaging ecosystem with innovative, sustainable, and compliant solutions. The exhibition provides a platform for meaningful engagement with customers and stakeholders to discuss evolving market needs.”
GLS will present a wide portfolio of products, including gravure and flexographic printing inks, both solvent-based and water-based, along with aromatic hydrocarbon-free formulations such as NT and NTNK series. The company will showcase UV/LED and water-based coatings, heat-seal lacquers, primers, overprint varnishes, aluminum foil coating systems, lamination adhesives, binders, specialty polyols, and extrusion lamination-compatible grades.
“GLS has always focused on product innovation and scalability backed by regulatory compliance,” said Neelakamal Mohapatra, CTO, GLS Speciality Chemicals. “Our team works closely with bodies, including BIS and FSSAI, as well as global brands, to ensure our products are future-ready and compliant with emerging national and international regulations.”
Mohapatra said the company has invested significantly in its R&D infrastructure, which includes high-end analytical laboratories, automated machinery, pilot reactors, and dedicated product safety and sustainability teams.
“India is a core market for GLS, and the company aligns its growth strategy to serve affordable and innovative solutions to Indian customers while staying ahead of local and global regulations. The company’s presence in India is reinforced through compliance, customer-partnerships, and active participation in regulatory development,” Mohapatra said.
While specific launch announcements remain undisclosed, GLS said exclusive technologies, innovations, and customized solutions will be unveiled at the exhibition. The company will engage visitors through technical discussions and thought-leadership interactions.
“India is not only our key growth market but also a strategic testing ground for global expansion,” Mukherjee said. “Our approach has always been to design solutions around customer needs, not push products to the market. That philosophy continues to define our vision.”
