DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions showcased its new branded DEC 185 flexo plates at this year’s IndiaCorr Expo for the corrugated and protective packaging industry held in Greater Noida.

According to Edwin Koh, AP commercial leader, DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions, the new version of the DEC 185 – a low to medium durometer digital plate for corrugated board applications — can withstand demanding requirements.

As Cyrel continues to develop solutions that deliver optimum results while addressing the challenge of counterfeit products, we are delighted to highlight the branded DEC 185 to IndiaCorr this year. We will release more branded plates in the coming months,” Koh said.

It has the DuPont Cyrel logo embedded onto the plate to ensure both the raw material and finished plate are clearly identified as genuine products,” Edwin said.

The branded plate represents the latest step in our ongoing efforts to assure customers that they are working exclusively with the authentic DuPont Cyrel plate material they require and contribute to their print standardization efforts.”

In addition to the branded DEC plate, the company spotlighted Cyrel DLC, an innovative soft digital plate that uses a new polymer formulation especially designed for the corrugated market. The DLC plate performs exceptionally well with water-based inks on lower-quality, recycled, and thinner liner boards. They significantly improve solid ink coverage, especially on recycled boards, allowing printers to use a lower volume anilox and less ink.

“With the introduction of the branded DEC 185 plates, we reaffirm our commitment to authenticity, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. We invite all attendees to experience firsthand the advancements that set DuPont Cyrel apart in the market, ensuring that our customers have the resources they need to succeed,” he concluded.
