The samples and solutions such as the oneECG have the potential to be transformative for the packaging industry, Ludovico Frati, Customer Development director, Bobst Italy said.
“Leading label machine manufacturers, suppliers, and others showcase their competence via state-of-the-art presses, innovative labels, etc. With so many suppliers under one roof, it is bound to attract the right kind of audience that we can partner with in the future and help drive the industry forward. It is definitely a center for collaborative innovation and ideation for future trends,” Frati said.
The previous edition in 2019 was very fruitful for it but a lot has changed over these years, accelerated further by the pandemic, Frati said. “It will be interesting to meet our customers in order to hear out their demands and desires as well as discuss global trends and future innovations.”
“I would encourage people to visit our booth to know about the interesting developments Bobst has to offer. We have several new solutions to support our vision, all built on the four cornerstones of connectivity, digitalization, automation, and sustainability.”
Frati said the last 3-5 years have been very impactful as the labels sector and other industries have evolved massively. Flexible packaging overall has seen a boom.
“The label printing market worldwide reached $36.98 billion (approximately Rs 3,03,021 crore) in 2017 and kept growing at 4.1% yearly to reach $45.22 billion (approximately Rs 3,70,541 crore) in 2022. The industry is going through many changes. For example, ‘sustainability’ moved from a good-to-have argument to an essential pillar in all business decisions. Various solutions were offered around it, such as the oneECG printing features on multiple installations of Bobst in-line narrow and mid-web presses that are present in five continents,” Frati said.
