Ahmedabad-based Acme Rolltech put up a strong debut show at the Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2023 held from 9-11 February in Bangkok. The company promoted its new ACE- Advanced Channel Engraving technology along with the ATAC, AHDW, and AHDC special anilox rolls at the expo.

This was our first participation at Labelexpo Southeast Asia. Our company commenced operations in 2019 and due to the pandemic, the event did not take place for four years. Our participation was excellent,” says Sandeep Sharma, director of Acme Rolltech.

The Asean region is a very big market for labels and packaging. We are slowly increasing our market share in this region and Labelexpo Southeast Asia is the ideal platform for us to showcase our strengths. Customers from the entire Asean market visit this show. We were here to find agent partners for the Asean market. We had a very successful show and were able to appoint our agent partners for Thailand and Indonesia. We are now working to appoint agents for Malaysia and Vietnam,” Sharma adds.

Acme Rolltech has been focusing on a lot of global and regional expos to strengthen its footprint in overseas markets. Before participating in Labelexpo Southeast 2023, the company took part in the K Show 2022 in Germany. It was present at regional shows in Dubai and Turkey. The company is participating in Propak Kenya, which is taking place from 14-16 March.

For Acme, exports are a very important growth area. The company ships its products to more than 20 countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Trade shows are important for us as we get to meet all kinds of stakeholders from the industry. We get to know what is happening at the global level. We will continue to participate in all major global and regional expos. We will be at Labelexpo Brussels and then at drupa next year,” Sharma concludes.
