Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), a distributor and service provider of flexo presses and associated equipment, has marked a successful 25-year journey in the printing and packaging industry, celebrated alongside the LMAI Conference 2025, held under the theme ‘Emerging Beyond Boundaries’ from 3 to 6 July in Udaipur. FIG represents Mark Andy, Rhyguan, Luster, Rotoflex, Presstek, Maxcess, KDS, Eson Flexible Dies, DYM Machinery, and XSYS.
“It is an honor to be at LMAI Conference 2025, where the Label Manufacturers Association of India (LMAI) celebrates its 25th Anniversary, at the same time, we also mark our Silver Jubilee this year,” said Gourav Roy, managing director of Flexo Image Graphics, in his keynote speech. He recounted how FIG started its journey with a handful of principals and supportive clients.
“After working at EAC Graphics and Heidelberg for seven years, I started FIG in the year 2000 as a sole representative of Mark Andy in India, which Heidelberg had earlier dealt with in the country. Since then, it has been a great and progressive journey for FIG, during which I kept learning from our converter peers and industry professionals.”
Recounting FIG’s early days, Roy said, “I started selling Mark Andy 830 to prominent companies who remain our loyal and longstanding customers to date. Sivakasi’s Graphic Reproduction Syndicate, which has installed multiple Mark Andy presses, is the first buyer of the Performance Series from FIG.” So far, FIG has installed 300 Mark Andy presses across the Indian subcontinent.
Along with Mark Andy, FIG is expanding its installation base of other machines from Rhyguan, Luster, Presstek, among others. “Wonder Pac India in Sonepat is the first adopter of our Rhyguan machine. It is a privilege to serve prominent players in the industry who are satisfied with our machines and service,” he said. FIG recently installed the 100th Rhyguan machine in India.
Florian Stroe, sales manager, Mark Andy, who attended the conference for the first time, talked about Mark Andy’s 75-year history, advanced machines, presence in 93 countries, 10,000 machine installations, 5,700 customers, and so on. “Congratulations to FIG for its achievements and thank you for being our partner,” he said.
Another principal of FIG at the conference, Luster, shed light on its advanced AI-enabled inspection systems, designed for both flexo and digital presses.
“We offer spare parts and training programs. In application training, we train operators so that machines don’t stop. Our response time in India is 24 hours and 48 hours for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka,” Roy concluded.
