PDIT2

The second Packaging Design, Innovation, and Technology Conference (PDIT2) at Pragati Maidan in Delhi is a compact event taking all of one day – 13 December 2019. PDIT2 promises to be a knowledge event with stimulating conversations and take-home value. Our articulate audience representing industry leaders is as influential as the speakers and panelists at the front. We try to keep time for discussion in every session, although it is becoming difficult with a jam-packed list of expert brand owners and technology and converter experts in our program. Send me an eMail or call me if you want to talk. Registrations have come in from brands such as Philip Morris and Britannia and leading packaging suppliers. Brands, designers and converters such as Allana, Cargill, Creative Labels, Encept, Mrida, and SB Packagings have already submitted case studies on innovation in competition for the Jury Presentation on the conference day. Naresh Khanna
Editor of Indian Printer and Publisher since 1979 and Packaging South Asia since 2007. Trained as an offset printer and IBM 360 computer programmer. Active in the movement to implement Indian scripts for computer-aided typesetting. Worked as a consultant and trainer to the Indian print and newspaper industry. Visiting faculty of IDC at IIT Powai in the 1990s. Also founder of IPP Services, Training and Research and has worked as its principal industry researcher since 1999. Author of book: Miracle of Indian Democracy. Elected vice-president of the International Packaging Press Organization in May 2023. One of the judges for Packaging Sustainability Awards 2024 and 2025.
