Uttarakhand's Meghdoot Packaging to install India’s first DGM MegaFold folder gluer

Uttarakhand’s Meghdoot Packaging, one of North India’s largest corrugators, has taken a significant step toward enhancing its production capabilities by finalizing a deal to purchase India’s first DGM MegaFold folder gluer machine. The decision was confirmed at Printpack 2025.

Sant Kapoor and his son Rohit Kapoor now lead Meghdoot Packaging. The company has been using DGM Automation India’s TechnoFold series folder-gluer for the past four years, with impressive results, according to Puneet Aggarwal of DGM Automation India. Encouraged by this experience, they have opted for MegaFold, a high-performance folder-gluer designed specifically for 3-ply and 5-ply corrugated packaging.

Aggarwal confirmed the deal and highlighted MegaFold’s advanced features. “It is a fully servo-driven machine, with each unit operating independently. Built to handle heavy-duty 5-ply automatic cartons, it offers superior precision and efficiency,” he stated.

The 1650-size MegaFold model manufactured in China will be the first of its kind in India, with capabilities for straight-line, lock-bottom cartons and 4/6 corner boxes. 

Installation is scheduled for February-end, marking a new milestone for both Meghdoot Packaging and DGM Automation India.
