Toyo
The company's stand plans for PrintPack show

Toyo Ink Arets India, a subsidiary of Belgium-based Toyo Ink Europe and a part of the Artience Group, will unveil its latest advancements in ink technology at Printpack India 2025. Centered around the theme of ‘Science & Innovation,’ the company will highlight its efforts in UV and LED food-grade inks for offset and flexo printing, as well as water-based inks for flexible packaging.

“Printpack India remains a vital platform for presenting our flagship products and innovative solutions. It fosters an environment of idea exchange, knowledge sharing, and meaningful engagement with our customers and prospects,” said Prasant Atre, managing director of Toyo Ink Arets India. “This year, our focus is on UV LED food-grade and water-based inks for flexible packaging — pushing the boundaries of performance and sustainability.”

Ink innovations

Food-grade UV LED inks for offset printing: Toyo’s food-grade offset inks are engineered for indirect food contact and offer attributes like low odor and low migration. The Toyo Steraplast UV Ink is known for its curing speed, color vibrancy, flow properties, and stability. These inks align with global environmental standards, including compliance with the Swiss Ordinance. According to the company, their eco-friendly, non-CMR composition ensures adherence to high safety benchmarks while delivering exceptional print quality.

Water-based inks for flexible packaging: For flexible packaging applications, Toyo Ink Arets India introduces its water-based inks, which cater to CI flexo and gravure printing. These inks boast high concentration, low residual solvent content, and high printing efficiency, making them suitable even for retort applications. The Aqualiona Series, designed for lamination, is particularly favored by flexible packaging converters for its versatility and superior performance.

Technical expertise

In addition to these ink innovations, Toyo Ink Arets India will offer comprehensive technical support to attendees at Printpack India. Visitors can explore these advancements and engage with the team of Toyo Inks Arets India at Stall K-44 in Hall 16.
