On the third day of Printpack 2019, Vinsak announced the sale of Lombardi Synchroline 430 flexo press to New Delhi-based Excell Graphics. This is the second Synchroline 430 that will be placed at Excell’s plant.
The Synchroline 430 that the company has ordered is a 17-inch, 8-color flexo press with features such as UV drier at all stations, automatic registration, online flat screen, rotary die-cutter and inline slitter and rewinder. The press can handle a variety of substrates from 12 microns to 400 gsm.
“We are already a user of Lombardi Synchroline 430 press which we bought from Vinsak. So, we have a certain comfort level with both Lombardi and Vinsak. This had a big influence on our decision to go for the second Lombardi,” says Shashwat Bansal, partner, Excell Graphics.
The second Synchroline 430 that will go to Excell has the online flat screen, which is not there in the older Synchroline 430 that Excell has, Bansal shares. “The flat screen feature makes the press very efficient in terms of both cost, operations and speed,” he adds.
Excell currently manufactures self-adhesive labels but is now looking to venture into shrink sleeve labels and mono cartons, and according to Bansal, the capability of the Lombardi to handle a variety of materials with equal efficiency will make the task easier.
Bansal says that his association with Vinsak and Lombardi will continue. “This is the second press and we are confident we will continue to grow and so will our association with Vinsak and Lombardi,” he concludes.
