Visitors can learn about the latest innovations: from complete systems to highly efficient machines designed to manage increasing packaging and production complexity. Backed by modern engineering and proven plant expertise, Sidel will introduce intelligent, user-oriented technologies that boost productivity and flexibility.

Sidel has a profound understanding of market requirements and over 40 years of experience in developing complete plants for manufacturers of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and at this year’s Interpack the company renews its commitment to providing complete plant solutions and intelligent systems tailored to the demanding needs of producers in the key categories of edible oils, sauces and dressings, and household and personal care products.

Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, comprehensive project management, first-class machines, and intelligent services, Sidel delivers a seamless offering so customers can operate their packaging lines with complete peace of mind.

Complete system expertise in focus

Visitors will learn about Sidel’s turnkey plant solutions, designed to optimize operations and deliver seamless efficiency to manufacturers of beverages, food, household, and personal care products. These integrated systems, designed, installed, and continuously maintained, maximize performance and minimize downtime, as expert teams tailor each plant to the specific needs of every customer.

Davide Sighinolfi, VP of the Food, Household and Personal Care Products (FHPC) division, comments: “Sidel’s complete plant expertise is a key factor in supporting customers in the cooking oil, sauces and dressings, and household products market categories. Our extensive experience in processing all bottle materials, shapes, and strengths allows us to deliver the performance, reliability, and flexibility that brand owners expect.”

“Besides our special expertise in PET and the conversion to PET, Sidel continues to be a reliable partner in a wide range of categories. Whether cartons, tubes or pouches – we master the complexity of packaging with a first-class machine park, complemented by modern intelligent technologies and user-oriented, safe automation to ensure consistent added value and operational excellence for our customers.”

Increased productivity

Sidel will showcase its complete system capabilities alongside technologies such as Cermex RoboSelex and RoboAccess_Pal S. Together, these solutions illustrate how the company supports customers in achieving a stable product flow, smooth changeovers, and long-term production agility.

Following the successful launch of the Cermex ProSelex product grouping system at Interpack 2023, Sidel will present its latest system, Cermex RoboSelex, with live demonstrations at its booth during Interpack 2026.

Cermex RoboSelex, a robotic grouping system for carton packers, offers flexibility and jam-free operation. This next-generation solution enables the seamless handling of a wide variety of lightweight shaped bottles and batch configurations, ensuring an ultra-smooth, continuous product flow without compromising high-speed performance (up to 320 products per minute).

The RoboSelex grouping system builds on the strengths of the ProSelex solution. It ensures containers are handled with utmost care while offering the agility required for today’s food, household, and personal care products. Designed for repeatability and speed, the changeover process typically takes only one minute for grouping changes and just two minutes for bottle format changes, allowing operators to switch between batches with minimal downtime.

At the same time, the optimized mechanical design of the system reduces the number of parts used, which not only simplifies commissioning but also helps to reduce costs and shorten the time to market for new formats.

Agile palletizing

Sidel will also present the compact, agile RoboAccess_Pal S palletizing unit. The machine on display at the booth features a new lifting column that enables pallet heights of up to 2200 mm.

With its unchanged core features, it achieves speeds of up to 11 cycles per minute and effortlessly handles payloads of up to 25 kg. Despite this capability, it remains compact and, thanks to its small footprint, can be easily integrated into production areas of less than 12 m² for two pallet stations and 8 m² for a single pallet station.

Because this efficient layout enables quick installation and contributes to a rapid return on investment, it represents an attractive choice for manufacturers who want to abandon manual palletizing and seek both flexibility and return on investment. To further enhance manufacturer autonomy, the machine’s HMI provides the PalDesigner tool for creating and managing palletizing patterns. Palletizing patterns can be created and customized intuitively without additional time or complexity.

At the booth, visitors can also discover Sidel’s latest aseptic innovations, including the Aseptic Predis X4, which is being presented as part of aseptic plant solutions for safe and efficient production. They can also learn about EvoBLOW Laser, the next-generation blow molding technology that demonstrates how Sidel is putting higher performance and sustainability at the heart of PET bottle production.
