Bengaluru-based Spectalpack showcased its range of stand-up pouches at Bharat Pack Expo 2025 in Jaipur in November. The exhibition served as a platform for the company to highlight its digitally printed range of packaging and gain insights into Rajasthan’s developing business spheres.
The company’s pouch portfolio offers matte, gloss, or velvet finish films depending on the printing substrate and barrier properties required, hang holes based on the desired shelf appeal, see-through windows, metallic effects, resealable systems, personalization, and customization based on size and type of pouch. Its variety includes stand-up, pillow, center-seal, flat bottom, quad seal, and 3-side seal pouches, as well as shrink sleeves.
In an interaction with Packaging South Asia, Priyesh Dalmia, director of Spectalpack, discussed the possibilities of expanding business in the North India region. Participation at the show serves as a branding exercise with the objective of knowing more about the market demands and trends, he said.
Dalmiya said the Rajasthan market, especially Jaipur, is expanding. “We are here to perceive the growth. With emerging product-based businesses, the demand for sustainable packaging grows as well. With our complete digital setup from HP, we are in a position to respond to the growing demand, especially in the case of multiple SKUs.”
Spectalpack, he said, is considering the possibility of setting up an office in North India if the demands outweigh the costs. “We’re not willing to gamble if the demands are not right; it has to be a strategic decision. At the end of the day, it boils down to the ROI.”
