Webtech's Aeroflex series, fully triple-servo 9-color flexographic printing press, to be displayed at Pamex 2026.

Webtech International Machineries will showcase its latest-generation, fully triple-servo 9-color flexographic printing press, designed to address the evolving requirements of high-end packaging and label converters, at Pamex 2026, to be held from 27 to 30 January in Mumbai.

According to Shivnnandan Singh, director of Webtech Machineries, the company will demonstrate its engineering capabilities and reinforce its positioning as a technology-driven partner for future-ready printing operations at the show.

The 9-color hybrid press is configured with eight flexo stations and one gravure unit. With a working width of 670 mm, the machine is for converters looking to handle complex jobs with high precision and stability. Singh explains that the press is built on a fully triple servo-driven architecture, ensuring superior registration accuracy, consistent print quality, and reliable performance even at high speed.

The focus has been to deliver European-level print quality while maintaining strong return on investment for converters,” Singh says. He says the press integrates a wide range of German and European subsystems, including precision gears, corona treater, automation systems, web video inspection camera, and web guiding systems. The curing system is powered by GEW (UK) LED UV technology, while German anilox rollers and other critical European components complete the technology ecosystem.

We have focused on balancing European performance benchmarks with Indian engineering efficiency, ensuring automation-led productivity, reduced waste, and lower operator dependency,” he explains.

Along with Webtech’s newest design generation of fully servo presses, Pamex 2026 will feature several first-time integrations on a single platform. Among the key innovations on display will be pre-pressure setup for faster job changeovers, micro print formatting with 5-10 mm repeat adjustment for short runs, and pre-register with auto registration control (ARC) to significantly reduce startup waste.

Singh says re-pass functionality on each individual station offers unmatched application flexibility, while the SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) and IoT-enabled architecture supports real-time monitoring, diagnostics, analytics, and Industry 4.0 readiness.

Another notable highlight is the dual monitor system, comprising a 55-inch main screen and a 22-inch auxiliary display, which allows operators to view live registration analysis with greater clarity. The press is built on a common base machine structure, enhancing overall stability, vibration control, and ultra-accurate color registration at high production speeds. “These innovations make the platform highly future-ready and aligned with market realities,” Singh notes.

Looking at the broader industry, Singh observes that printing and packaging is moving towards shorter runs, faster changeovers, higher automation, reduced waste, and data-driven manufacturing. According to him, Webtech’s product roadmap is aligned with this transformation through automation-centric design, LED UV curing for energy efficiency, hybrid printing capabilities, and smart factory integration via SCADA and IoT systems.

Summing up Webtech’s expectations from the exhibition, Singh states, “Pamex 2026 is not just an exhibition for us, it is a statement of capability and commitment. It allows us to demonstrate the true potential of Indian-engineered, globally integrated flexo technology and engage meaningfully with converters and brand owners who are planning for the future.”
