Inking system for sheetfed offset presses
CRON is demonstrating a new inking system for sheetfed offset presses at drupa (Hall 5 Stand B24) which will bring new levels of efficiency to offset printers. The new EZcolor system not only reduces waste and enhances quality but also brings down the point at which short-run offset becomes profitable. In this way, EZcolor is positioned to challenge digital print’s established stronghold on runs of just a few copies.
Unveils HP PageWide C500 Press
At drupa 2016, HP has introduced a range of digital printing solutions designed to empower print service providers (PSPs) to reinvent their possibilities. With the largest exhibit space at the show, the company is unveiling its new HP PageWide C500 Press, a flexible and robust industrial post-print corrugated solution powered by HP PageWide technology. It is also showcasing the new HP Indigo Digital Combination Press, enabling HP Indigo print and digital embellishments in a single pass.

G7 Expert training from 20 to 23 September 2016 in Mumbai
Idealliance India will hold the G7 Professional and Expert four-day training and certification programme in Mumbai from 20 to 23 September 2016. The trainer will be Steve Smiley, the G7 expert and active member of the ISO TC 130 committee for graphic arts standards development. While certification is only open to Idealliance India members non-members can also take part in the training.
Nutech Packagings’ green plant comes up in Greater Noida
Noida-based Nutech Packagings has become India’s first company to sign a deal with Monotech Systems for the Scodix E106, which was launched at drupa 2016. The new digital press, which will be shipped in Q2 2017, will be installed at Nutech Packagings’ 1,200,000 square-foot green plant in Greater Noida. However, Nutech will be allowed to use a Scodix Ultra at its plant till the E106 arrives. Nutech has asked for some customization of the Scodix E106 to fit its needs.
