Since the installation of the press in 2015, Amcor reported increasing procurement of HP Indigo digital print by brands for a variety of packaging applications.

The conference saw the renewal of agreement between the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and Messe Dusseldorf to continue their cooperation in the Save Food initiative. In the early 1990’s, when we needed to print outdoor posters on synthetic papers from Yupo and Arjomari, we were unable to find any UV offset sheetfed press in the country. The first time I heard of a UV multicolor press was in Mumbai, when we saw samples of plastic cosmetic packaging for export by Utility Packaging printed on a second-hand Heidelberg multicolor press with conventional UV inks. (There was no other UV print curing system available at the time.) The first new multicolor press with full interdeck and end-of-press was the KBA Rapida 105 imported by Parksons Packaging for its Daman plant in 2005.
