Mumbai-based Trigon at Aahar 2022 displayed the company’s digital label packaging samples to several start-ups. The company was established in 2007, and it has branches in Banglore, Delhi, Dubai and Singapore. The company has a complete setup spanning from a laminate machine to pouch-making machines. It caters to most FMCG companies in three buckets of services, including brand compliance, mockup development, and short-run printing in various substrates. The company has acquired two HP Indigo machines – 6K digital press for smaller format and 25K digital press for the bigger format, bought just after the pandemic.

“At Aahar, Trigon’s stand is reaching out to the people and making them aware of the technology. We are also working with start-ups closely and helping them provide the good labels,” said Milind Deshpande, chief operating officer at Trigon.

He further added, “Today, the companies don’t want to invest in inventory because none of the companies don’t know about their print runs, and digital is a format where people can play with their design. So people come and make print only as needed by their company.”

Many customers want to customize and personalize their label and want to run royalty programs according to their needs, such as limited edition packs, pictures of festivals and many other designs on the pack.

Trigon at Aahar, displayed all packaging samples for start-ups. On the expansion, Deshpande said, “Currently we are not looking for expansion because a year back we had installed HP 25K digital press. But definitely, we will be looking to install the same model at our other branches.”

“I want to tell people if you have any inquiry, we are there to support and what offer the best technology we have. Our mindset is clear – we are the trendsetters. We are working on the same path, and we don’t worry about our competition because the digital market is growing,” Deshpande concluded the conversation by adding a message to the packaging industry
