The 8-color Bobst RS 4003MP installed last year at Saima Packaging’s flexible packaging production facility in Karachi, Pakistan, features technical solutions for automation and reduced waste that enable it to be operated profitably with any mix of print job lengths, from short to long run production.

Bobst recently organized a vacuum metallizing and coating innovations seminar at Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi. Attended by more than 80 flexible packaging converters and suppliers, the seminar showcased Bobst’s innovations in the field of vacuum metallizing and coating.

Packaging industry insiders have been reading about Bobst events in Asia, including a recent event in Malaysia. It was only a matter of time before Bobst held a knowledge event in the national capital of India on 21 April 2017. The event was well attended mostly by flexible packaging converters and by some brand owners and raw material suppliers.
